Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the football program. • Establish success criteria for the team, emphasizing both athletic and academic achievement. • Foster a team culture that promotes academic success, exemplary citizenship, and an inclusive community. Qualifications: • 4-5 years of experience as an assistant coach in a successful football 3A program or as an assistant head coach in a smaller program, with a desire to transition to a larger school environment. • Full compliance with all IHSA coaching requirements. • Familiarity with the principles and practices of a restorative school culture. • Proven track record in developing and mentoring assistant coaches. • Education: College degree preferred. • Required Certifications: ISBE/NFHS/ASEP coursework, and CPR/AED/First Aid.
